Baby and Toddler Computer Games, Bad for Kids Just Like TV?
There have been some advice not to expose babies and toddlers to TV because it affects their attention span. Are baby / toddler computer games potentially harmful in the same way too?
All I can say is my son watched the TV and played on The computer(leapster or educational games on the PC) from about 2 years and my daughter even younger because of seeing her brother doing it. my son is now 4 and is reading writing and doing simple maths. Most TV and computer games amid for the younger child are educational. As long as they are not doing it all day every day they will learn from it.
Just be careful what you pick out for them to watch or play, Ben ten for example would not be a good choice in my opinion!
