They say I must not use a vacuum cleaner to clean out dusts on computers. What should I do?

Does static electricity get generated when the vacuum cleaner’s ’steel’ part make a contact with the computer’s ’steel’ part? What if the vacuum cleaner has a plastic component that comes with duster? Plastic part much like the mini vacuum cleaners used for car interiors…

I just answered your question. Who said you cannot use a vaccum cleaner? They don’t know what the beans they are talking about! I have used a vaccum cleaner for YEARS on hundreds of computers without a single incidence of damage. Use the vaccum cleaner! A can of compressed air only blows the dirt from one place to another – and you don’t want to breath it either.
