LPG Conversion Problems?

I have a Range Rover 4.6 with a dealer fitted Gas Conversion. It regularly runs very rough on Petrol when it is swapped back from Gas. The car has been back to Land Rover and has been put on the diagnostic computer and comes up with no faults, so I have to assume that the gas kit is effecting the petrol side. When the engine runs well on petrol, the gas side seems to run rough, but nowhere near as rough as it does on petrol, it is pretty much undriveable on petrol when it is bad, the car will not accelerate.

Sounds like you have a mixture problem, or your timing isn’t dropping back when on petrol. If it is carb, check you needle and seat, otherwise, your computer may have to be reset(memory wiped) when changing fuels both ways, so it can re-learn it’s tuning map- which is more likely, as that is how my old volvo works. You need someone who understands the EMU hardware operation at component level and BIOS to correctly interpret what is happening and what has to be done. Not usually a dealers expertise-a specialist repairman more likely.
